WHAT ARE OUR PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS?

The British Register of Complimentary Practitioners (Chinese Medicine Division) requires members, before joining, to have achieved a comprehensive understanding of the theory of acupuncture and to have demonstrated clinical competence.

Your practitioner is a specialist in acupuncture after studying and qualifying to Advanced Level at the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shanghai, China, including clinical practice at the Peoples No 1 One Hospital and will have not less than 20 years’ clinical experience. 

We hold full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. We abide by a Code of Ethics which covers relations with patients, fellow practitioners and the general public.

We follow stringent standards of hygiene and sterilisation for equipment and needles. 

These standards were formulated with the guidance of the Department of Health’s Public Laboratory Service and provide complete safety against all forms of infectious diseases.
